I'm Katie- award winning Behaviourist, Nutritionist and owner of the Dog and Hound Boutique. A lot has changed in the dog food industry over the last ten years, but my ethos remains the same. Only foods which offer both quality and value make it onto our shelves and into our freezers. I'll never sell a product I don't believe in, and I only endorse brands that meet my high standards. We're proudly independent, and are Independent Pet Shop of The Year finalists for the second year in a row.

I am a passionate advocate for long term health and wellbeing. That's why we never cut corners when it comes to sourcing our products. We don't over sell, or make big shiny marketing claims. We prefer to let the quality of our products. and the wagging tails of our four legged customers, do the talking.

In 2024 we launched our signature brand- Dogs Know Best. We started tentatively- just 5 bags of food to test the waters - but it didn't stay that way for long. Just 18 months later and the range now includes a core adult range, wet food trays, superfood recipes, 80/20 cold pressed, complete raw meals, supplements, natural training treats and ultra lean chews.
